Pancake indulgence doesn't get much better than this.... All you need is some staple cupboard ingredients, 3 eggs and chocolate (or in our case, leftover Easter eggs). Oh, and some hungry family members!!
You will need:
•1 tbsp oil
•300ml milk (nut milk is good too)
•225g flour (we used whole grain flour)
•50g cocoa powder
•30g caster sugar
•1.5tsp baking powder
•Leftover Easter chocolate
•Whisk together the wet ingredients
•Gradually combine the dry ingredients
Pour batter into a well greased pan (on a medium -low heat)
•Pop in some mini chocolate eggs (or whatever you have left) and push under the surface for a melt-in-the-middle surprise
•Leave on hob to cook until bubbles start to appear on the surface
•Transfer to a preheated oven (190c) and bake for 10-15 mins until the top is springy to touch.
•Whilst cooking, melt your left over chocolate in a bowl over hot water
•Time to let your creative flair takeover ... splatter, drizzle and flick the melted chocolate over the top.
Get stuck in and enjoy whilst still warm
