ChocaLOT Pancakes (because too much chocolate isn't a thing...)



We don’t want to give away all our secrets – but if you are on the hunt for something

a bit more indulgent give these a whirl!


 2 Cups Plain Wholegrain Flour

 1/4 cup cocoa powder

 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

 1 cup milk/mylk (any will do)

 2 eggs

 3tbsp Maple Syrup

 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips


In a bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. In a separate medium bowl, whisk

together milk, eggs and maple syrup. Add flour mixture to egg mixture and whisk just until blended.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Heat a Griddle ;0 (a frying pan!) over medium heat. Spray lightly with oil. Drop 1/4 cup batter onto

skillet. Cook until bubbles begin to appear. Flip and cook 2 - 3 minutes longer. EAT AND REPEAT

Top with strawberries and peanut butter / chocolate sauce if they make it onto a plate.
